Description
Erie Falls was creating a mighty roar as the waters of Kitchen Creek splashed into the plunge pool below. I think of that sound as the music of the glen. It is an ever present accompaniment as you hike along the Waterfall Loop in Ricketts Glen State Park.
This beautiful site is located a very short distance upstream from the Waters Meet point, on the Ganoga Glen branch of the Glen Trail.
This photograph was captured on Monday, May 17th, 2010 with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens on a Canon EOS 10D DSLR body. The aperture was set to f/22, shutter speed 1/8th second at the 17mm focal length, ISO 200.
Ricketts Glen State Park is located at the junction of RT-118 and RT 487 in Fairmount Township, Pennsylvania, USA. The nearest town is Red Rock, PA, about half way between Williamsport and Wilkes Barre, PA.
