Description
The point where the two branches of Kitchen Creek converge in Ricketts Glen State Park is named Waters Meet. I jumped off of the stone retaining wall and captured the upstream view of the Glen Leigh branch of the stream. The waterfall off in the distance is Wyandot Falls.
This early summer shot was captured with a Canon EOS 5D camera, through a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens, focal length of 40mm. The exposure was 1/20th sec @ f/19, ISO 200. A Manfrotto tripod and head were used, with a remote shutter cable.
Ricketts Glen State Park is located at the junction of RT-118 and RT 487 in Fairmount Township, Pennsylvania, USA. The nearest town is Red Rock, PA, about half way between Williamsport and Wilkes Barre, PA.
