Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

This was my last stop in Ricketts Glen, before heading home for the night. This natural stone bridge crosses a small tributary of Kitchen Creek, at the very top of the gorge. This is one of my favorite quite spots to visit on the Highland Trail. The site is about a half mile away from the Lake Rose parking area.

One last time, I just had to take a short breather and photograph this scene, before finally making my way out the woods. After nine hours of hoofing it up and down the rugged trails, I was more than ready to take a short break, before getting back into my van for the drive home. I can't imagine a finer place to relax for a little while, after a long trek through the glen.

This photo was captured very late on October 18th, 2011, well past sunset. It was taken with a Canon 30D DSLR, through a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens at the 17mm focal length. The shutter speed was 1/2 second at f/5.6, ISO 125. No filters were used for this shot, due to the very dim light. The...

I was born in the wild hills of West Virginia, raised in western Maryland and currently live in north central Pennsylvania, USA. My higher education includes Theological Studies, Electronics Engineering, Audio Engineering and Visual Arts. I taught a Media course at Pennsylvania College of Technology (Penn State Affiliate). Photography has been an integral part of my life since the mid 1960's. Capturing the beauty and complexity of nature is my main interest, from macro close-ups to wide vistas views ...and everything in between. Natural waterfalls are the most frequent photographic subjects found at the business end of my lens. Historic Covered Bridges and farmland scenes are also very close to my heart, but any visually interesting...
