Artist's Description
The Wyandot waterfall site is starting to reveal the rich colors of autumn, mixed with the remaining summer greenery. A very welcome overnight rain brought the falls back to life, just in time for my visit.
Wyandot is a very short distance above the Waters Meet Point, on the Glen Leigh Trail. This waterfall is clearly visible from that central point in the park.
This photograph was captured on Wednesday, October 8th, 2014, on a solo autumn hike through Ricketts Glen. The shot was captured with a Canon EOS 5D camera through a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens, at the 33mm focal length. The exposure was 2.5 seconds at f/11.0, ISO 100. A 77mm ND-4 Neutral Density filter was mounted on the lens. The camera was securely mounted on a Manfrotto 055CLB tripod with a Manfrotto 222 “Pistol Grip” head. A remote shutter release cable was also used.

Historic Covered Bridges and farmland scenes are also very close to my heart, but any visually interesting...
