Artist's Description
Murray Reynolds was the first Waterfall that we encountered on March third in Ricketts Glen. There was very little indication of any moving water here. The iconic pillar of stone, that is the most recognizable feature of Murray Reynolds Falls, was completely hidden under mounds of winter’s snow and ice.
The image was captured with a Canon 5D Full Frame camera using a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens, at the 40mm focal length. The photo was shot @ f/10, with a shutter speed of 1/40th of a second. The camera’s ISO was set to 100. The camera was mounted on a Manfrotto tripod, with a Manfrotto 222 Pistol Grip head.
