Artist's Description
Autumn leaves were starting to accumulate on and around the Cayuga Waterfall in Ricketts Glen. This is where I ran out of Flash cards. That is a first for me. I had to walk right past Oneida and Mohawk falls, without a single shot this trip. I was sure that 8 cards would do the trick, but I was wrong. This was my last shot on the Waterfall Loop. (I had more Flash Cards in my van, though).
This beautiful spot is located along the Ganoga Glen branch of the waterfall trail "loop" in Ricketts Glen State Park.
This photo was taken on October 8th, 2014 with a Canon EOS 5D DSLR body, fitted with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L Zoom lens at the 30mm focal length. The shutter speed was 0.6 seconds at f/9, ISO 100 in RAW format. An ND-4 Neutral Density filter was used on the lens while the camera was mounted on a Manfrotto heavy duty tripod. A remote shutter release cable was used.

Historic Covered Bridges and farmland scenes are also very close to my heart, but any visually interesting...
