Such a beautiful stream image, I think I like this one even better, Great framing and exposure fv

Gene Walls replied:

Thank you so much, Byron! The cloudy evening sky really helped with the more diffused lighting for this shot. Best wishes, Gene

Artist's Description

It had been a very long, beautiful spring day of hiking and photographing the waterfalls in Ricketts Glen. Adams Falls is nearly impossible to capture when sunlight is shining directly on the water. We decided to save this site for the very end of the day, after the sun was retreating over the ridge, in hope of getting some nice shots.

I was born in the wild hills of West Virginia, raised in western Maryland and currently live in north central Pennsylvania, USA. My higher education includes Theological Studies, Electronics Engineering, Audio Engineering and Visual Arts. I taught a Media course at Pennsylvania College of Technology (Penn State Affiliate). Natural waterfalls are the most frequent photographic subjects found at the business end of my lens. Historic Covered Bridges and farmland scenes are also very close to my heart, but any visually interesting...
