Artist's Description
You are seeing B. Reynolds Falls as the site appeared on an early October morning. Several trees at the top of the waterfall were proudly showing off their bright seasonal oranges and golds.
The B. Reynolds waterfall is located just a few steps upstream from Wyandot Falls, below R. B. Ricketts. This landmark is a very short distance above the Waters Meet Point, on the Glen Leigh Trail.
This photograph was captured on Wednesday, October 8th, 2014, on a solo autumn hike through Ricketts Glen. The shot was captured with a Canon EOS 5D camera through a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens, at the 17mm focal length. The exposure was 0.8 seconds at f/8.0, ISO 100. A 77mm ND-4 Neutral Density filter was mounted on the lens. The camera was securely mounted on a Manfrotto 055CLB tripod with a Manfrotto 222 pistol grip head. A remote shutter release cable was also used.
