Artist's Description

This very large coal-stoking steam locomotive was built in Reading Pennsylvania in the mid 1940's. The T-1 Northern locomotive was the first of its class to pull trains for the very popular Reading Company Steam Engine Train excursions. The No. 2124 was fondly dubbed "the Queen of the Iron Horse Rambles".

The Reading T-1 Northern No. 2124 locomotive is currently on static display at Steamtown, USA, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA. This site is a National Park that is dedicated to the preservation of America's incredibly significant Railroad Train history.

Historic Covered Bridges and farmland scenes are also very close to my heart, but any visually interesting...
