Description
I must admit it, I am obsessed with this place, an abandoned farmhouse, deep in Amish farm country. I can't stop thinking about the generations of family members who knew this as their family home.
I have photographed this subject in every season, but I am still trying to capture this scene in a perfect shot. I plan to create a definitive set of pictures of this mysterious place, as it looks in all seasons. This is the June image.
This photo was just taken with a Canon EOS 10D camera body using a Canon EF 35-350mm f/3.5-5.6L zoom lens set to 70mm. The shutter speed was 1/20th sec. at f/22, ISO was set to 100. A Manfrotto tripod was used with a remote shutter release cable.

How lovely to have a favourite view to watch in the seasons and moods of nature.
Gene Walls replied:
Greatly appreciated, Elizabeth! Thank you so much! It took several years to complete the project, but I never got tired of shooting this amazing landscape. Kindest regards, Gene
