Description
An overcast morning found this spider minding his damp web. The colorful "bokeh" background was the result of the spider's web being constructed between my brick house on the right and an ornamental evergreen bush on the left side of the image.
This closeup photo was taken with a Canon EOS 10D with a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro prime lens. The shutter speed was 1/4th sec at f/8, no flash, ISO 400. A Manfrotto tripod was used with a remote shutter release.
