Description
This balloon is called "The Purple People Eater", named after the popular song from the 1950s. You are not likely to find a herd of these creatures around!
It was an absolutely perfect day at the Montoursville Hot Air Balloon Festival in central Pennsylvania, USA. The sky was filled with striking colors dispersed among the friendly clouds above the Williamsport Municipal Airport in Montoursville, PA.
The photo was shot with a Canon EOS 10D camera using a Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L zoom lens @ 70mm. The shutter speed was 1/180th sec at f/16. The cameras ISO was set to 100. A Manfrotto tripod was used with a remote shutter release.
