Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

This early autumn view of Harrison Wright Falls was taken from the shallow waters of Kitchen Creek. It was an overcast October evening, with a light rain falling.

Harrison Wright is the first waterfall downstream from the Waters Meet Point in Ricketts Glen State Park. The photo was captured on October 10th, 2013, during a solo hike through Ricketts Glen State Park.

This image was captured with a Canon 5D DSLR body, through a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens, at the longest focal length of 40mm. The aperture was set to f/5.6 with a 0.25 second exposure at ISO 100. A Manfrotto 550B tripod and 222 pistol grip head were used.

Ricketts Glen State Park is located at the junction of RT-118 and RT 487 in Fairmount Township, Pennsylvania, USA. The nearest town is Red Rock, PA, about half way between Williamsport and Wilkes Barre, PA.

I was born in the wild hills of West Virginia, raised in western Maryland and currently live in north central Pennsylvania, USA. My higher education includes Theological Studies, Electronics Engineering, Audio Engineering and Visual Arts. I taught a Media course at Pennsylvania College of Technology (Penn State Affiliate). Photography has been an integral part of my life since the mid 1960's. Capturing the beauty and complexity of nature is my main interest, from macro close-ups to wide vistas views ...and everything in between. Natural waterfalls are the most frequent photographic subjects found at the business end of my lens. Historic Covered Bridges and farmland scenes are also very close to my heart, but any visually interesting...
