Description
In this photograph, you are viewing the majestic Ozone Waterfall, with several of the unnamed cascades below the falls. This is how the scene appeared from Kitchen Creek on an early October morning.
The spot where this photo was captured is located on the Glen Leigh Trail along Kitchen Creek, about half way between Ozone and the R. B. Ricketts waterfalls.
This photograph was captured on Wednesday, October 8th, 2014, on a solo autumn hike through Ricketts Glen. The photo was shot with a Canon EOS 5D camera through a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens, at the 38mm focal length. The exposure was 2.0 seconds at f/16, ISO 100. A 77mm ND-4 Neutral Density filter was mounted on the lens. The camera was securely mounted on a Manfrotto 055CLB tripod with a Manfrotto 222 pistol grip head. A remote shutter release cable was also used.
Ricketts Glen State Park is located at the junction of RT-118 and RT 487 in Fairmount Township, Pennsylvania, USA. The nearest town is Red Rock, PA, about half way between Williamsport and Wilkes Barre, PA.
