The party boats were all gathered at dusk on the Susquehanna River, to enjoy the annual fireworks display in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, USA. The first rocket had just exploded to begin the celebration.
This photo was captured on July 4th, 2013, from the shore of the west branch of the Susquehanna river with a Canon EOS 5D body fitted with a Canon EF 35-350mm f/3.5-5.6 L USM lens at the 65mm focal length. The shutter speed was 1.3 seconds at f/4.5, ISO 800, RAW format.
