Description
Every trip to Watkins Glen State Park is a new experience, and NEVER a disappointment! Around every bend in the gorge there is an unforgettable scene, unlike anything else you have ever seen before. The stream cascades down the many steps of sedimentary rock into beautifully “carved” whirlpools, created and finely polished over eons of time.
Watkins Glens State Park in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York.
This photo was captured with a Canon EOS 10D body fitted with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L Zoom lens, at the 27mm focal length. The shutter speed was 1/1.5 sec at f/16. The camera’s ISO was set to 400. A Manfrotto, tripod was used with a remote shutter release cable.
