Description
It rained over two inches today and the wind was downright nasty. So of course, I decided to take a stroll through Bandon Park in the heart of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Light was practically nonexistent, but the downpour had just ended, so I mounted my camera on the old tripod and started shooting up a storm. Turns out, it was a much more beautiful autumn evening than I ever could have hoped for!
The city of Williamsport owns this beautiful park and it is meticulously maintained by our Parks & Recreation Department.
The leaves will all be gathered and will be used to make a wonderfully rich mulch. The mulch is used by the city and is also made available to local residents in the spring for their gardening needs.
A Canon EOS 10D DSLR body, fitted with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L Zoom lens. The lens was set to its 24mm focal length. The shutter speed was 1/6th sec at f/8, ISO 400. This photograph was taken on a Manfrotto tripod.

Nice composition. Love the colors. The bench situated under the trees but still looking all alone in the light is a very nice capture!

Beautiful -- perfections in composition, timing, perspective and nature's seasonal change.
