A wonderful Memorial Day was enjoyed by everyone at my friends home. Our host's beautiful backyard garden grabbed the attention of my lens just long enough to allow me to capture this macro shot.
Un-touched, straight from the camera.
This macro photo was captured with a Canon EOS 10D using a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro prime lens. The shutter speed was 1/60th sec at f/4. The camera's ISO was set to 400. A Manfrotto tripod was used with a remote shutter release.

My higher education includes Theological Studies, Electronics Engineering, Audio Engineering and Visual Arts. I taught a Media course at Pennsylvania College of Technology (Penn State Affiliate). Natural waterfalls are the most frequent photographic subjects found at the business end of my lens.
