The historic stone barn in Oval, Pennsylvania is decorated for Christmas. The wreaths are hung with beautiful red ribbons to brighten them up.
If you look very closely, you can see the birds taking advantage of a mild December day on the barn.
State and Federal Rehabilitation Tax dollars have been set aside for the all the historic buildings in Oval, PA. I am certain that this stone barn must have been included in that historic district.
This beautiful barn is located on RT-44, not far from Jersey Shore, PA. It is still in use and is in wonderful condition.
This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 10D DSLR camera through a Canon EF 35-350mm f/3.5-5.6L telephoto zoom lens at the 35mm focal length. The shutter speed was 1/180th sec at f/9.5. The camera’s ISO was set to 100. A Manfrotto tripod was used.
