Description
The historic Buckhorn Covered Bridge is located in Cogan House Township (often called the Cogan House Bridge). This amazing structure was built in 1877, across Larrys Creek. The bridge was fully restored in 1998. It is located near Steam Valley, off of RT-15, a 20 minute drive north of Williamsport in Lycoming Country, Pennsylvania. The bridge and surround area is incredibly well groomed!
This early Pennsylvania treasure was officially listed on the National Register Of Historic Places in 1980 and is beautifully maintained by the Lycoming County Commissioners.
This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 10D body fitted with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L Zoom lens, at the widest focal length of 17mm. The shutter speed was 1/60th sec at f/5.6, ISO 100.
