Description
A flotilla of white geese following the gander across the lake. The purple loosestrife (lythrum salicaria) wildflowers were reflecting off of the water from the far shore. The reflections gave this scene a special “look” to me.
This lake is located in Indian Park, a municipal facility, in the town of Montoursville, Pennsylvania, USA.
This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 10D through a Canon EF 35-350mm f/3.5-5.6L lens, zoomed to 60mm. Shutter speed was 1/20th sec. @ f/11. The ISO was set to 100. A Manfrotto tripod was used with a remote shutter release.

Gene Walls replied:
Thank you very kindly, Donna! I was hoping the swans would swim past the purple loosestrife and was really happy that they did. Best wishes, Gene
