Description
This is the top section of the often missed Conestoga waterfall. The falls take several hidden twists and turns around large boulders below this point. Conestoga is the most miss-identified "named" waterfall in all of Ricketts Glen, despite the fact that there is a wooden placard here that confirms the name of the site.
Conestoga Falls is located half way between Tuscarora and Mohican Falls.
This photograph was captured on October 8th, 2014, with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens on a Canon EOS 5D DSLR body. The aperture was set to f/6.3 with a shutter speed of 0.3 seconds. The lens was at the 30mm focal length. The ISO was set to 100. A Manfrotto tripod was used with a 222 pistol Grip head.
Ricketts Glen State Park is located at the junction of RT-118 and RT 487 in Fairmount Township, Pennsylvania, USA. The nearest town is Red Rock, PA, less than half way to Williamsport from Wilkes Barre, PA.
