Description
Conestoga Falls is the eighth named Waterfall a hiker will discover while descending the Ganoga Glen Trail, from the top of the Ricketts Glen gorge. Conestoga has three main sections, upper, right twist and bottom. The bottom left panel of this collage depicts the bottom portion of the waterfall, with the "twist", as it appears in the spring. The other three panels show seasonal views of the upper section of the falls. In many visits since 2008, I have never found a way to capture the entire waterfall in a single frame.
I have captured a full set of photographs of all of the "named" waterfalls in Ricketts Glen, as they appear in all four seasons. This series will feature each of the falls in photo collage, showing the seasonal views that I have collected over recent years.
Ricketts Glen State Park is located at the junction of RT-118 and RT 487 in Fairmount Township, Pennsylvania, USA. The nearest town is Red Rock, PA, about half way between Williamsport and Wilkes Barre, PA.
